BSM Server installation with SharePoint Portal (Office Server) 12 beta

Has anyone gotten this to work?  I started building a VPC with all the software and there is a certain install process you need to do.

  1. Create a Clean Windows 2003 Server VPC
  2. Install SQL 05 with all the goodies
  3. Install SharePoint 12 beta but use the FARM setting and then Web Client.  Then choose the local DB instance.  The reason for doing this is if you choose the default install option, it overwrites SQL05 with SQL05 Express Beta.  Breaks.
  4. Reboot
  5. Install Office Professional 12 beta bits.

Ok, here is the issue.  When you install BSM Server, you get the following pre-req checks and one fails.  Don’t know how to get by it.  Do you?

Passed Microsoft ASP.NET 1.1
